The last day of 2018 has finally arrived and I couldn’t be happier! This means that I bring the annual review post and it feels like forever ago when I wrote my 2017 post. But, I can’t believe that this is the 4th post so without wasting anymore time, I’ll let you know how I got on.
-Work hard and Pass my GCSE’s
-Be consistent in my A sentence A day book
-Learn something new (not sure on what yet)
-Go out on adventures and make memories
As you can see, I did ok this year because I completed half of my goals. I worked as hard as I could for my GCSE’s and to be honest, it wasn’t the greatest experience for me. I was so drained, tired and ill but I somehow passed all my GCSE’s (considering the fact that I gave up at the end). If you want to know how I did, click here. I’d say I was consistent with my sentence a day because I did it for 10 months without fail but stopped during the time I wasn’t feeling very well. I’m actually going to read through my sentences for this year and it would be very interesting to see what I wrote.
The reason why I didn’t learn something new is that I couldn’t think of what I wanted to do so that resolution was a bust from the start. One thing I do regret about this year is that I didn’t do much and I should be a lot more sociable. Compared to last year, this year was pretty boring.
Overall, this year hasn’t been the best year for me because so much has happened at school and home that resulted in me constantly sleeping, losing motivation and I’ve gone from having a positive outlook to a negative outlook on things. 2018 has taught me so much about myself as a person that I want to change my view on everything and hopefully get back into being motivated. I guess hitting rock bottom isn’t a bad thing because now I aspire for 2019 to be different. This year has felt neverending for me because so many drastic changes have happened: I finished Secondary school, I did work experience, Summer holidays, Started 6th form (and so much has happened during each segment).
The biggest change of all was the fact that I went self-hosted! (For in-depth info on this, click here). I decided to do this because I’ve wanted to have control over my blog since the day I created it and amidst the craziness this year, I went for it. I couldn’t be happier because it was a personal accomplishment as I transferred everything myself.
I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has read, liked and commented on my blog this year because all your love and support means so much to me and it never goes unnoticed. It makes writing on my blog so much more enjoyable and I’ve even made such great blogger friends and it’s so fun speaking to a lot of you guys on Instagram. I want to give a special thank you to the amazing people shown above for always commenting and showing love to my posts xx

This was also the year I found my love for Pinterest! Also, thank you for 110 followers on there too.
