I know it has been a long time since I’ve posted on my blog but, I’m back! I’m back with blog posts scheduled for the last month of the year! As the weather is transitioning, our mood seems to do the same (and not for the better). It is commonly known as the winter blues. So here are 3 steps to motivate yourself this winter!
1) What do you want/ have to do?
This varies from person to person so I’ll use myself as an example. I have mocks in a week and a half so I need to revise for them. I also want to work on my blog and finish writing blog posts for December.
I love organising my school work, folders and my life in general, haha. Either use the morning or evening to set up your day or the next day and you can do this by spending 5 minutes on making a to-do list. This gives you an idea of what you want to get done and you are more likely to be more productive as you’ve taken that first step on thinking about what you want to do. My example would be to create a revision timetable and get my books ready.
3) Start with the small tasks
Everywhere I go on the internet, they say to start with the big tasks to get it out of the way. Personally, for me, that is what makes me dread doing work so, I start off with the small tasks to get me started and then I get the motivation to work and start working with the big tasks.
I try to do these three steps for things like school work, housework or to get back into a hobby I’ve neglected. One of which was blogging and I started off by changing my theme and moved into the bigger tasks like taking photos. This definitely brought my motivation and inspiration back to blog again.
So I hope you all enjoyed this post! I can’t believe that it’s December because we are so close to 2019. Have a lovely day everyone x
