Recently, I was sent a few products by Mario Badescu to try out and you guys may have seen what products I was already sent because I did a haul on my Instagram stories. In today’s post, I will be sharing with you my first thoughts.
The drying lotion was the product I was most excited for because I’ve heard such great reviews about it. I tested it on my spots and what would’ve taken days for my spots to die down, it happened overnight. I was very happy with it! I don’t think it would be a good idea to use it every day because it has a strong smell and it wouldn’t be good to constantly dry out your skin. I definitely love how you put a cotton bud through the liquid layer and then to the powder. Click here to check it out!
I also had high hopes for this product because I love the rosewater facial spray. I knew that this worked because I have combination skin and some part of my face gets really dry. I sprayed the cucumber facial spray and let that sink in and I didn’t need to use as much moisturiser on my face as before. I also love how fresh this smells too. Click here to check it out!
I was a little sceptical about this enzyme cleansing smell because it doesn’t have exfoliating beads but this is perfect because it is suitable to use twice a day. When I use an exfoliator with beads, it tends to over wash my face which can cause it to oil up quicker but I am excited to see, after a while, if this clears my skin up. Click here to check it out!
I had no idea that Mario Badescu did a lip balm as I never saw it on beauty bay but I think this product is only available in the U.S. I am definitely so grateful that I have the chance to use this because it is really moisturising and I really like the smell. It has coconut oil in it and smells really nice. Click here to check it out!
The toner also isn’t available in beauty bay but I will try to see if I can find alternative links for these. The toner smells very similar to the rosewater facial spray but it is slightly different due to the witch hazel and I really like the subtle floral smell. I don’t use toner in my skincare routine so this product was definitely intriguing. I used it after I washed my face and my T-Zone wasn’t as oily as they usually get so I guess it worked. It is supposed to minimise pores so I’ll definitely update you guys on if it works. Click here to check it out!
Lastly, the rosewater facial spray. I wasn’t sent this as I purchased it myself, hence why it is half full. I thought I’d give a mini review on this in case you’d like to try it. The smell of this is by far my favourite out of all of them (it might be a bit biased as I’ve been using this for a long time, haha). I used it all summer and it cooled down my face and rehydrated my face without making it oily. Click here to check it out!
I want to thank Mario Badescu’s PR team for sending over these prodcuts for me to use and try out. Make sure to go check them out and give them a follow.
So I hope you all enjoyed this post! I know you guys were so excited for this post because I got a lot of DM’s asking me to do a review as soon as possible. If you would like an in depth review on any of these, comment below!
