Simple Summer Skincare routine

Hello everyone,

It has been a long time since I’ve shared my skincare routine.  The last time I did was back in Autumn 2017 and let me tell you this, it has changed a lot.

Simple oil balancing face wash

If you guys have been following me for a while, you will know that simple is my go-to skincare product, especially their light moisturiser. In the past, I’ve used their face washes and thoroughly enjoyed it so, when their new oil balancing range came out, I just had to try it! I’ve got oily skin so I picked this up right away and I have been using this for a month now and I’m not breaking out as much due to less oil build up. Definitely my new favourite daily cleanser!

St Ives apricot scrub

Twice a week, I use the St. Ives apricot scrub as a deep exfoliator. This is an old favourite of mine! I always switch it up but I somehow find my way back to this product because it just works so well for my skin. My sister and I both love it so much!

Simple oil balancing moisturiser

Guys, I’ve finally had the courage to change from my usual Simple moisturiser. I am so glad I did because this is also light but a little goes a long way! My face doesn’t feel as oily as before and it instantly sinks into my skin which is a bonus because I just don’t like it when moisturisers take forever to dry.

The body shop skin defence

This is a new addition to my skincare routine. Using suncream is one of the major factors of making my skin super oily which leads to me breaking out A LOT. The skin defence is really light and it’s like I put nothing on my face once it has sunk into my skin and I put this on after my moisturiser. It is the most expensive product in my skincare routine but it was definitely worth it.

So I hope you all enjoyed this post. I would love to know your favourite skincare brand so make sure to comment it below! Have a lovely day x

I think getting the right moisturiser for you is key Najida! I’m still on the hunt for mine :’D . So made up to see you’ve got your skincare down for this summer though girly! I’m caving on Monday and going to get a new moisturiser as my current one is so bad and my jojoba oil (I hope I’ve spelt that right) ruins the consistency on my spf! A facial spf that feels unnoticeable is the absolute one!

Oh I love your photos!! I have used the St Ives Apricot Scrub before but it was way too harsh to use on my skin! I keep to a religious skincare routine, as I have finally found what works for my skin! Loved this post! xx
