Photography apps I recommend

Hello everyone,
As a blogger, I always use certain apps on my phone to edit pictures for my blog, There are so many great apps that I have for editing/taking photos on but I always am switching it up. If you’d like, I can write a how I edit my blog or Instagram photos. Just comment below.

Before I get started, I just wanted to say that I have an android phone but you can still find all these apps on any other phone model. (all these apps are free)
Photography apps
VSCO – This is my go to app because of all the filters and how easy it is to use. The app has this feature where you can copy and paste edits from one photo to another which is perfect for Instagram! It just means that it’s easier to have an Instagram theme however, I just change the edits slightly depending on the image. I use the camera on this because it has a grid/level line which helps me take pictures straight and not wonky.
PicsArt – This is the complex app which I adore! This app has been my number one from the start because for me, it’s like a mini photoshop that is designed for a phone There are numerous features on this that can get overwhelming, but this is perfect for when you want to play around with images. I don’t use this app as much as i used to because I don’t like editing my pictures to much. I just use this for my personal Instagram because of one of the features. Or when I’m bored, I love playing around with all the tools.
Aviary – The perfect app for a subtle edit. I sometimes have a love hate relationship with this app, not gonna lie. Its because for certain pictures it does wonders but for others not very much. So I use this app for pictures that are really good quality and don’t need fixing so that’s why I really like this app. If you want simple editing done to your picture or to enhance them, I will definitely recommend this app to you!
Boomerang – This app right here is just so fun to use, haha. I mainly use this for personal or if I am using it for my blog, I use the built in Instagram one. The app made it to my recommended because I’d say its percent for fashion bloggers who showcase their outfits.
Planoly – Let’s be real here. Most of us are addicted to Instagram and the oh so perfect feed and that is the reason why this app is here. You can upload pictures with your Instagram to see whether the image will look nice with you feed. It doesn’t post unless you want it to which I think is great. This app is a total game changer.
Polarr – Last but not least is this app right here. This app made it to this list because of it’s filters and it has a great range (some of which you have to pay for). It’s really similar to AVAIRY but it has extra tools on it. The app is more of a newbie and I’ve really enjoyed it so far and I hope you all do to.

So I hope you all enjoyed this post. Make sure to comment below what photography apps you recommend as I’d love to try them out! Also comment below on whether you want me to do a post on either how I edit my Instagram or blog photos. Have a lovely day.
Najida x

Hey Najida, you must definitely try Adobe Lightroom, it’s free for phones and tablets and it is one of the best and and very useful photo editing tool that professional photographers use.
Let me know about your opinions on Lightroom after trying it.

Thank you for sharing some of these! Definitely downloading some new apps soon! I like VSCO a lot, but I also like using Snapseed by Google occasionally.
