Revision Prep

Hello everyone,
Revision is a word that most people do not like. Not only does it get you worried about exams, it also stresses you because you probably don’t know where to start. So today’s post I’m going to show you 3 simple steps to get started and feel motivated to revise!

The best way to make a start is to have everything you want to study confront of you. What I mean by this is the subjects you want to study in the course of this week/month’s.
Some people prefer a revision time-table or others like listing it all. Choose whichever one you like. The key to this is to not take so long to make this. It took me less than 5 minutes so than I have more time to actually revise.
Manage time on the day

On the day you are revising, Categorise! First off write what you will revise in the morning and afternoon. Than near the task, write how long you want to spend on each.
That’s all you have to do! Just work through the list and do it in the desired time. If there are a couple subjects that haven’t been revised, put them in the unfinished list. Put them in the migrate list with also the subjects that need to be done the next day.
Balance (during revision)

Make sure to balance your hobbies and revision. Don’t overstress and do something you enjoy. I used a seperate notebook to write down blogpost ideas because I like writing posts in my free time. I also wrote some shows I’m going to watch in my breaks.
This is good to have on paper so you can see what to look forward to on your breaks on your non-revision days.

I want to thank *Chroma Stationery for sending me a personalised notebook. It’s so pretty and has definitely motivated me to revise more so than I could write in it.

Make sure to check Chroma Stationery out:

As a second-year university student with nine midterms this semester (I know…), it helps to see others in the same boat, and looking for tips to help fellow students. This is a great post and I wish I could ‘Love’ it! Those are some stunning notebooks. Your blog is wonderful. Thanks for sharing and I hope you have the best week. 🙂

Great post! I think many people get super stressed whilst revising, and they leave out their hobbies, but it’s so important to get breaks from revision! Also, this personalized notebook is so cool!
