Natural Skincare routine

Hello everyone,

Today’s post is a guest post by my sister because she wanted to share her morning and mainly night time daily skincare routine. This is great for those who are trying to go natural with your products. Let’s get started with the post!

Tea tree skin clearing foaming cleanser 150ml £5.50

I have always suffered with a few spots on my forehead and a couple around my nose and chin area ; I have tried many products before which never really worked for me. Body shop were having a sale and I came across this cleanser that I thought I’d give it a try. I am so happy I purchased this because I absolutely love it! I use it every morning and night. I have seen a difference within a week of use.

Before using this cleanser I dab a tiny amount of water onto my skin so it’s damp. Then I use one pump of the Tea Tree cleanser onto the tip of my fingers and gently massage it onto my skin in a circular motion until the foam has cleared. I then rinse the residue off my face with cold water. This leaves my face really soft and blemished free without any dryness.

Tea Tree oil 10ml £8.00

After I have used the cleanser, I than used the tea tree oil on my face. I take a small amount of oil and apply it onto my spots or blemished areas. Even though the cleanser helps reduce the blemish, the oil helps get rid of it. And it takes the bad bacteria away from my spots. The next morning my spot dries out and hardly becomes noticeable. I really cannot stay without this oil ; I love it more as it gives an earthy smell and leaves my skin feeling fresh and clean!

Vitamin E Hydrating face mist 100ml £9.50

This face mist really does what it says. I spray at least seven inches away and let it sit for a minute or two. A few sprays keeps my face thoroughly refreshed and hydrated. Also, dewy. It has an amazing, delicate, rose water scent which I love love love! I spray on the areas where I haven’t applied oil. Moreover, this mist can be used as a primer and ha makeup setting spray which is great.

Nutriganics smoothing serum 30ml

I use this serum as a moisturiser because it’s very hydrating for my combination skin. I use two pumps and apply it after my face mist has set. It keeps my face feeling replenished and softer. The amazing benefit about this serum is that it’s non greasy and quickly absorbs into the skin. The consistency is thin and watery like which gives you that natural leafy scent which I never get bored of.

Ocean salt face and body scrub from lush 120g £7.99

Lastly, it’s my face scrub which I only use twice a week after using my Tea Tree cleansing foam. Since two weeks of use I have seen a great difference. It has improved the texture of my skin and leaves it feeling smoother and softer. It has a zingy feel making my skin feel clean and dirt free. I will definitely be buying an everyday facial scrub from Lush!
