DIY jar decor

Hello everyone,

It’s been months since I did a DIY on my blog! So I decided to do it a little bit differently. Today I am going to be showing you how I decorated my jar for makeup brushes. However, I did this DIY in the summer holidays 2015 and I found the pictures and I totally forgot to post it. Ooops! So that’s why it is a step by step DIY through pictures! Let’s get started.

i did this in my garden as it was so nice outside

You will need:

  • A jar
  • Paper
  • Glue
  • Ruler
  • Scissors
  • Colouring (I used highlighters because they are bright)

Measure the jar and cut the paper to the correct length. Mark it with a pen so it’s easier to see where to cut.

Check if the piece of paper fits round the jar. Make sure to have extra paper so you can glue it later on.

Than colour and design the paper how ever you like! As you can see I made mine for makeup brushes.

Glue the ends together and just slide the design on to the jar and it should fit!

Here is the finished design!

I made this DIY last year so this is an updated one. You can throw away your design and make a new one! I don’t have a design in it anymore but I did a similar ones to two more jars.

So I hope you guys enjoyed this post and comment below any other DIY  suggestions.
