Who we are
My name is Najida and this is my blog Life As Najida. You can contact me via email: firstname.lastname@example.org
My website address is http://www.lifeasnajida.co.uk and an outline of all the data collected and cookies are mentioned below.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, which is email and name. This is to make sure we can detect spam. Also, the browser user agent string is collected to help spam detection and IP address.
We do not share any information provided. It is solely for you to comment and you can choose if you want us to send an email to be notified when I reply. This is done through a tick box underneath the comment. The default of the tick box: unticked.
All this is the same for when visitors follow via the BlogLovin’ follow form. Data collected (the emails) are never distributed to third parties or anyone else.
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. A Visitor isn’t able to upload any sort of media on my blog. Visitors who visit the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website but must give credit to www.lifeasnajida.co.uk to the person Najida.
Contact forms tell visitors to leave their name and email when contacting me. This is because the contact form sends your message to my Gmail (email@example.com) and in order for me to reply, you need to leave your name and email. I do not share nor withhold your email or name. Once the conversation is over, the messages just stay in my inbox.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to save your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
If you edit any information This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
Who we share your data with
WordPress shares no data with anyone or third parties. www.lifeasnajida.co.uk does not share any data with anyone or third parties. Any brands I have worked with in the past and any brands I work with, in the future, have NO access to any visitors data.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information (e.g if there is an inappropriate username, I will be able to remove it. I do not tamper with any other profile information).
Any comments made by a visitor in the past is stored in the Plugin UpdraftPlus Backups. This is in case of any malfunction error so then I can retain all my posts, pages and comments up and running.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where we send your data
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service. We never send visitor’s information to third parties or anyone.
Your contact information
