Ways to stop boredom in the summer

Hello everyone,

Summer is fast approaching (or already here for some of us) and it can get a little boring because we don’t have every single day planned out. So for those days, you are not busy or not chilling out, here are a few ways to keep yourself busy.

Start a scrapbook

I’m pretty sure the first few weeks of summer are going to be jam-packed and your camera rolls are gonna be full of memories. But, sometimes it’s nice to keep a scrapbook and turn those images into collages or like a sentence to describe what you have done. I think this is perfect to look back to! Also, it isn’t a one-time thing and you can do this throughout the whole year.

Keep a journal

This is similar to the scrapbook idea but it is aimed at my fellow readers who love writing. Journalism is such a different type of writing and can be hard to write what you did. By no means do you have to do it every day but, this is a great way to practice your writing and kill time. This is a hobby that is not popular anymore so definitely give it a try!

Read a new book

Yes, I did underline new on purpose. Reading your favourite book again is great but, there are soooo many amazing books out there that are worth your time. Just the process of finding books, ordering them, looking for one in the library is time-consuming and can be therapeutic. Also, the time it takes to read it will never feel like you were bored in the first place.

I just want to thank Printiki for letting me print my pictures. Their prints are great quality and I was actually pleasantly surprised! They are in matte if you were wondering. Check Printiki out:

So I hope you all enjoyed this post. What are your favourite things to do when you’re bored??

Aww I love these ideas! I totally agree. Keeping a journal is something I do daily, but I find it even more important during my summer adventures!
