Whenever you ask someone what their favourite day of the week is, it’s usually Saturday. Well, mine is Sunday because it is the last day of the week and I’m very chilled out. So I thought I’d share with you what I like to do as it is Sunday today.
Have a slow start to my morning
When I say slow, I mean VERY slow, haha. I wake up around 11am because it’s that one day in the week I can have a proper lie in. On Saturday, I have things to do so I make it mandatory to catch up on my sleep on Sunday.
Catch up on my sentence a day
I have a notebook where I write a sentence about my day, every day. When I’m really busy a d super tired, I often forget to fill out a few days. I always take a good 5-10 minutes to fill the gaps. It’s also a great way to reflect on the week I’ve just had.
Go big on breakfast
I am guilty of having cereal Monday to Friday and I never have time to enjoy breakfast. So, to make the weekend extra special, I go all out. On Sunday’s, I love having pancakes, beans on toast or I’ve a brunch depending on the time.
Set a goal for the day
No, I don’t mean homework/work or cleaning. This day is solely for you to rest. Personally, is make a mental note to watch my favourite show (mines Riverdale at the moment) and/or read a book on Wattpad.
Who doesn’t enjoy a little pampering once a week? I make sure to have a hot bath, do a face mask and put some comfy Pj’s on. It ends the week perfectly and it puts me in a good mood for the week commencing.
Now that I’ve had a peaceful day all to myself. It’s time for me to ready my school bag and finish any homework due in the next day (I try to get as much done on Saturday so I don’t have to do it on Sunday’s). It also helps me save time the next morning, especially if I’m running late.
