Welcome back to my blog after two weeks off me not posting after two weeks, I am so sorry! (read here for update and I hope you all liked the collab :)). Anyway, on a more positive note, this is my first autumn blogpost, WHOOP! To celebrate, I’m doing a transition from summer to autumn lipsticks. This is the perfect time because it just about feels like autumn!
Mac – Whirl
Whirl is everybody’s favourite go to dark nude lipstick which is perfect for the transition from summer to fall. It’s so wearable and not to daring and is the perfect dark shade for everyday. This was bought because of the hype it got last year and I couldn’t have been happier with this shade.
NYX Liquid Lipstick – Exotic
Gerard Cosmetics – 1995
The NYX Exotic liquid lipstick from the lingerie collection should have the definition of summer to fall transition. I just can’t explain the shape but it just has the perfect tones so I definitely recommend everyone to go have a swatch of this the next time you take a trip to Boots.
The Gerard Cosmetics 1995 liquid lipstick has the summer vibes and if you just can’t let go of summer just yet, this is the go to product. It’s not to bright so you could pull it off for your everyday makeup routine.
Gosh – Antiquee
As you can see, i’m not a very daring kind of girl but this is probably the darkest I’d go in September (I love going for darker lipstick when it gets colder, so around October to December). The Gosh lipstick has a mauve undertone which is so pretty and goes never unnoticed. This was a great bargain to.
Urban Decay – 1993
I you just do not like autumn lipstick shades at all but still want to wear something to match the season, the Urban Decay lipstick is your go to. It’s a dark, but not to dark, pink toned lipstick that you could wear everyday or when you go out with friends. This is great for those who love their pinks and nudes.
So I hope you all enjoyed this post. Comment below your favourite transitional lipsticks because I’d love to know your suggestions! Have a lovely weekend everyone. P.s. A requested blogpost is going up tomorrow 🙂
